I had been shooting a 1911 in a class and had a magazine failure...

Switched to a glock 19 and shot it 10'times better... more natural point of aim and mags that dont fail

      Loved it

          It was a Glock 22 .40
I went on a 4 1/2 year search after that for the perfect first semi-auto (for me, had to be concealable) and ended up with... a Glock 26 that I pick up tomorrow. I went with the 9mm for ammo availability and cost.

For me was a glock 23, I found it a little "snappy", weird grip angle and cheap feeling.

It took you 4 1/2 years to find the perfect ccw gun?
                  You must be very picky.

Made me appreciate 1911's even more!!!

Honestly, never could take to the ergos. Always feel top heavy, don't like grip or angle, trigger is well, the trigger, sights don't point right for me, and in general are snappy.

That being said, they're great weapons. Nothing they can't do. Just not my cup o' tea. I grew up on 1911's and revolvers.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Awful trigger, awful sights, awful ergos.

All fixable and I can shoot stock Glocks well even though I still feel the same way.

                        I carry one everyday.

I didn't like it, and almost sold it. Then I gave it another chance, now I love Glock. Glock 17 is an awesome firearm.

First gun I owned and shot was a BHP, so my standard at that point was a single action trigger.

The 2nd gun I fired was a glock and had never fired a striker fire gun before. I kept looking at the target and wonder how the paper was bulletproof and impermeable to lead. Not one hole in the black. I mainly shoot Sig's now but 2017 is the year I am determined to at least become somewhat competent with a glock trigger. I purchased a Glock 19, and this is my 2017 challenge to self.

I was wondering what the big deal was, crappy trigger, poor sights, poor ergos. Went back to my 1911s and revolvers. Eventually bought a G17 to stretch my experiences and shoot GSSF with it.
