Good morning to all,
I am in need of a little help here understanding the law on receiving a firearm that is coming from out of state.
I am currently in the process of purchasing a FN Five-Seven MKII FDE, I checked the roster and it appears that there is FDE version on there. Does it matter if the roster version does not state MKII?
Another question I have is that the seller is selling me the Five-Seven with the model number 3868929350 which appears to be the 20 rd. version, he informed me that he is able to swap out the magazines from 20 rounds to 10 round magazines prior to shipping it. One of the FFL's I inquired about receiving this firearm with the 10 round magazines told me it is perfectly acceptable and legal, and that the model numbers did not really matter, and another FFL I inquired with told me that it is only legal for him to accept model # 3868929352 which is the 10 round version of the pistol.
Which of these 2 FFL's is right? I just want to ensure that I do not get myself in any trouble trying to purchase something that is not legal or spend my money on a firearm that will not be accepted by the FFL.
Thanks in advance.
