Wow, the smallest Walther I could find was the TP/TPH, and those are bigger than that.sigpicNRA MemberOriginally posted by Deadbolt"We're here to take your land for your safety"

Is that actually a pistol? What caliber is it?
I don't see it on the Walther page:

I think this is actually a cigarette lighter and the spring and slide-button seen on the right side of the gun is for the flint cartridges. Just a guess, but I don't see how this thing could fire any ammunition; and the ;mechanicals and parts shown indicate it is a butane lighter.
From what I can tell, the bolt/hex-cap at and below the muzzle is where you remove the srping to load the cylindical set of flints, and the circular white item is a spring loaded striker for the flints, with a valve to open and close the butane, when the trigger is pulled. No actual barrel is apparent so I am sure it is not a real gun, and the metal the whole frame is made out of appears to be cheap die-cast, similar to Mattel's "Hot Wheels" so I am sure Walther does not make this either.
Alsio, I don't think Walther would make a trigger that looks that junky.

This is a 'gas gun'. I don't mean a CO2 gun, but a teargas gun....
These 'shoot' some sort of teargas cartridge, and are legal personal defense weapons in Russia (and perhaps areas of Europe, dunno.) I am not sure what, if any projectile is used or if just a gust of gas is emitted.
I think this can be Googled for more information.

Well, this is a non-gun. As I said, it's a 'gas gun'. It's used in foreign countries, they may not care about marking requirements.Originally posted by [MM]I havent found any information in the internet about that pistol and why then at the pistol is no serial number and model name?
Some of these designs have been in use for decades - I even think these have been used pre-WWII for anti-dog use (with the same broad concept as the US "VeloDog" cartridge).
In the US I believe these guns would have - broadly speaking - roughly the same legal status as flareguns and starter pistols.

Here's some info on Russian low-energy (i.e, non-lethal) self defense guns that shoot rubber projectiles...

Appears these are Makarov variants that can't accept real loads...
I believe the gun you depicted has some kinda electric discharge mechanism that fires the gas cartridge.
These gas cartridges have a noisemaker component apparently too...

If it is not a gas gun it shoots a low-energy rubber projectile and may have noisemaker ability.Originally posted by C.G.Not sure if that helped, but I think it actually shoots projectiles and most likely it is an actual gun.
