This changes my mind about Stippling......

That is a fantastic stippling job -the cleanest, most uniform (completely uniform) but I'd still prefer grip tape, and for $90/side... I'd put that towards my next gun.Comment

check this first
with larger caliber guns, check out the effect of the stippling on your hands when you fire a hundred+ rounds at the range.http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...lymer-pistols/
The uniformity is key. Looks awesome. And they are in CA. I called and talked with a guy. Very friendly. It's not cheap, but quality rarely is. He said they could do scrollwork on slides also. I may be making a trip to Santa Rosa.Comment

This changes my mind about Stippling......
Unless you "operate" with gloves, stippling is unnecessary and destroys the value of the gun. As stated above, shoot 150 rounds with stippling sans carpenter's callouses, then we'll talk.
As an aside, VP9. No stipple awesome.

Some folks charge $300-$375 for hand stipplingRule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
