Walked in to my LGS and I saw a used gen2 17. Problem is, its in the LEO only section. From a couple of ffl's I talked to, it's not off roster. Maybe they don't know what they were talking about, BUT on the ca doj website it specifically states that US made glocks and gen 4 glocks are not on roster. Anyone else have any input on this.

Tell them you will take it without any mags and they should be able to sell it to you, because the reason why it's LEO only is the standard capacity mags that it comes with.
You may have to bring your own mag to perform the safety demonstration.Comment

Unclear on this: Did you ask the LGS selling the gun why it's in the LEO only section?Walked in to my LGS and I saw a used gen2 17. Problem is, its in the LEO only section. So I jus called and talked to the manager. She said gen 2 glocks are on roster. I asked about the the gen 2 g17 in the LEO section and she said something with that specific pistol may have been modified to make it off roster. But she has no idea what. I've been looking for a gen 2 and this particular one has no slide wear and is priced at $440 with no mags. I jus really want to buy it.Last edited by sc870; 12-26-2016, 1:09 PM.Comment
