Absolutely thrilled to hear that 70 is part of "the younger crowd." lol

Unless you're ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY certain that you will never sell your gun, then I would say don't stipple it.

Most stippling jobs I've seen look like the proverbial junior high kid with ADD and a soldering iron. I'm sure they add functionality to the gun. I'm sure they feel better in the hand. I'm sure they improve accuracy and "hittability" of the gun. I'm sure, for the owner who did it to the gun, it has improved it significantly over the stock gun.

All that said - they mostly look hideous and significantly reduce the resale value of the gun. They're permanent.

I'm not a car guy, so I can't think of too many car mods that are similarly permanent - but I would suspect that car mods that are permanent would generally lower the resale value.
      "Two dead?!? HOW?!?"

I have a G-23 that I cut the grip shorter to use G 26 magazines with. When it was cut the Glock logo on the grip was cut in half, so I stippled it to cover it up. Some people like it, some hate. Doesn't matter to me, it works.
        Besides, it's a Glock........

No stipple for me, but to each their own. If you like it, do it.

40 years ago you wanted to enhance your .45 Automatic you put ivory or stag grips on it.

                    Today you stipple your Glock
