This is just a wild guess but because the Tupperware box sticker says 2 x 10 round magazines,
Maybe it was going to a location /state /Canada? where having adjustable sites were required to make it a "sporting target competition pistol" and not a bad guy evil handgun.Comment

Out of curiosity I looked up generation years and it looks like gen 3 came out in 1997. There was the federal hi cap magazine ban from Clinton in 1994. So maybe the gun was produced between 1994 and 1997 during the ban. Just a thought. As for the sights I have no clue.Comment

The early model Glock's came with adjustable rear sights. They overhang the rear of slide and would break off. Glock changed to a fixed rear as a replacement. I have two Gen 1s and a Gen 2 with that adjustable rear.
Look up the barrel date code for a Glock gen 2. Do a word search for it.Comment

Thanks Matt. Have you ever seen the 5lb trigger option? The early model Glock's came with adjustable rear sights. They overhang the rear of slide and would break off. Glock changed to a fixed rear as a replacement. I have two Gen 1s and a Gen 2 with that adjustable rear.
