    Wanting a Nighthawk 1911

Currently own a glock 19 and like the size and feel of it. I'd like a NHC but not sure which model to buy. I want something complete blackout and the size of g19.

I am thinking the gun pic you posted is a tad bigger than G19.

    But I like your style.

Officer size might be closer to G19. So look at the T3 or Predator 3. If you plan to buy one new and you are not roster exempt, your only choices are .45. And no alloy frame upgrades to the roster versions.

And you cannot buy one made to order. It has to be a certain configuration to be roster exempt. So if you want custom work like blackout etc, you have to send it back to Nighthawk after you get it from DROS.

Don't waste your money. Get something like an HK p7. You'll be much happier in the long run and you won't be on a first-name basis with your gunsmith

I have the NHC Falcon and absolutely love it. It's been flawless for over 1k rounds and counting.

G19 size would be similar to their T3 model that's in CA roster. But if you're roster exempt then you're looking for a commander.

The Predator II is a commander and on roster. So is the Talon II. But a Commander is built on a full size frame. The grip length would be more like a G17 not 19, but thinner.

Whichever NHC you procure will be a performer. My GRP Recon, while larger than what you may be seeking, has workmanship far above that of my SA TRP, for example. It is on par with any of the Baer, Wilson, or Brown examples I have fired extensively. You will pay more initially, but that investment will last a VERY long time.

My latest Wilson, while very fine, is no better IMO than my GRP.

@Hopeton. If you no longer want that P7, I would seek to acquire it. I am always on the lookout for items of high quality with Superior craftsmanship

Funny I've been itching for a Nighthawk too after seeing them on sale here. I'm guessing it'll be a day and night difference from shooting my kimber tlerl.
