FU$#@!*& Glock 10 round mag base.

I needed to take apart a G20 10 round magazine. At first I tried the method used for the high cap mags, but that didn't work. I searched Calguns and Youtube for the correct way to do it. I tried a C-clamp, Water Pump Pliers (aka: Channel-Locks), and pushing the plate all the way in which caused it to crack/break and cause more problems. I finely took out my Dremmel type tool, cut it partially in half and pried it off.

Glock needs to make a special base that allows it to be pushed further into the mag, so the base can be removed easier.

Use a tiny pocket screw driver to push the button and one to pry just slightly . Never issues ever .

Okay, they're hard, but they aren't that hard. If you're going to mangle your factory 10 rounders, you might as well save yourself the hassle and buy 10/15 blocked mags.

I tried to disassemble a friends 10 rd mag. After a few chew marks on the body of the mag I told em it was easier to just buy a new one once this one gets too dirty to function. I can't stand the 10 round Glock mags. They are a disgrace to the regular ones. They make the pistol horrendous to enjoy when your thumbnail is about to bust off from putting so much pressure on getting that 9th and 10th round in there.

My $8 glock too does the trick for me, but I have visible abs.

I used vice grips since I had 4 mags to do.

I used an Allen wrench to push the button, but the CA 10's do not push deep, just enough to get the button past the plate.

This is the major Glock fault for all if Thier simplicity this is a poor design
