    CZ SP01 Double Feed Problem

If had my spo1 for a couple of years and love this weapon. But since new, it sometimes jams as it feeds a round. I have this issue usually with lighter 115 grain loads, but frustrating as hell.
Is this an ejector problem or ?
I have not taken the slide/ ejector apart, just polished the feed ramp and only lube as usual.
    Any help would be appreciated.

      Try a lighter recoil spring.

I can't help you, I've owned two SP-01 and can't remember the last time one failed.

But here's my thought on 9mm ammo. I never, ever use less then 124 grain, I reload all my training rounds and use 124. My carry rounds are 124 or 147. I own many different 9mm's and rarely ever suffer failures, in the distant past I've had failures with 115 and seen others have them also. Ever since I went to 124 or 147, 9mm failures are a thing of the past for me.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Thanks guys. I have 4 mags , 10, 18 rounds. All seem to be ok, but issue is with all mags. I'm thinking to send out to Cajun to do a full re do. My 97b has never had the issues I'm having with this sp01.

are you using brass ammo or alum. ammo? I have double feed and FTE when I use alum. ammo.

Aluminum and brass. Don't run aluminum anymore. My xd and my 97b eat anything.

A simple fix. Recoil spring is the issue.

See our website home page, see the "Menu" list, see the "Technical Support" selection.

                  CZ SP01 Double Feed Problem

                  Stiff recoil spring
Support thumb riding on the slide
                  Weak ammo
                  Stiff hammer spring (main spring)
                  And combination of the above

Before I shot my SP01 I went to a 14# recoil spring per the recommendation for shooting lighter loads. There is a nice thread about common issues with the SP01 here: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=22862.0

Apologies in advance if I am breaking any rules by posting a link to another forum.

Sorry to hack the thread, but still about SP01.
What is acceptable play slide/frame is? I have horizontal 0.01" and vertical 0.016", is that within specs?

Thank you guys for your knowledge. I'll look at a lighter recoil spring.
