Colt python box help

    If the revolver serial is a "V" and matches the 87301 on the box that
    would be correct for a Python in 1980. The V on the box looks like a Y. The date code on the box is
    also from 1980. Again does the Python frame serial match the box #?

            Yes,it looks like nickel. The box is also showing N for nickel. Again if their
            is a V for a serial prefix it would be 1980 which is too early for a stainless
            Python.
