My new gun

Got my first P220 today. Need to load up some ammo for it this week and try it out Friday down @ TargetMasters. Looks nice, feels nice, if it shoots as well as my Sig 1911, I will be happy. This is my 3rd Sig, I guess the family is growing.

Is that a custom beavertail on the 220? I don't see that on their website...

I don't think it was a custom job. I think it was a special edition though. I figured it would be a nice to start to see if I like the P220 system. Heard great things about them, I am hoping they are true.

Looks like a 220 Elite. Is it or is it just the frame and SRT without the elite slide (i.e. no front serations or elite stamp on the slide)?

There is no 'elite' stamp on the slide. I do like their elite line though, they sure do look nice. Going to load up some 45 tonight, gonna try to hit the range this friday. I did find a link to the sig site that had this model on there.

Some like rails and some don't. I like the light/laser on my 226. Enjoy!

X5! Jimrod, thats a nice gun. I saw it today while browsing the Sig website. I saw the P220 X6, depending on how this P220 does on Friday, maybe I will think of getting another one down the road. I dont mind the rails. I have a P226R and a P229R waiting for me, about 30 days on the first and a bunch more days on the 2nd lol.
