    Springer 1911 Loaded Target Sights

I have one of these in black stainless, and love it, but the night sights have given up the ghost. To clarify, to replace these, I need a bo-mar cut, is that correct? And, does that cut designation apply to the front as well? Like to go Fiber Optic here as I really only shoot this gun outdoors in daylight. There didn't seem to be options from HiViz or Meprolight for this particular cut.

    Anyone have a similar experience?

Did the blade pin walk out and go away? I've almost lost mine like that.

My SA Loaded target has an LPA cut - which there are plenty to choose from. Front sight is standard - i got a Dawson Precision FO front for mine - .180" Tall x .100" Wide.

edit: Ah, Loaded Black Stainless, you actually may have a Bomar sight on that. You can still order standard front sights.

Thanks guys, looks like this'll be the ticket. The Springfield 9MM 1911 - a real fun pistol - has sights just like this I believe. A solid rear Bomar and the fiber optic front.

No blade pin disaster, but the sights are dim, useless to me now. I just can't see tiny dots anymore at 54. I'm putting big-*** Fisher Price sights on my CZs as well.

It's a Springfield - that may be covered under lifetime warranty.
