30 day rule with rifles?

Are rifles excluded as far as 1 firearm per 30 days? Im remember hearing that it was, but unsure. I just bought a handgun a week ago, but I dont want that to hold me back in case I see something this week at a shop. And is military and leo exempt from the 30 day rule as far as handguns?

No limit on rifles. You can also put mutliple long guns on the same dros form and save yourself $$.

Unless you are in LA county/ Only new handgun purchases are limited to one per 30 days. Consignment and PPT are exempt everywhere else.

I think you mistaking, it's the LA city that restrict 30 days for both new/used and PPT.

I believe it is just the city of LA.

I have done a few PPT of handguns within 30 days of each other in Cerritos, Pasadena, Burbank, and West Covina with no problems.

I was always under the impression the exemption was only for LE/Mil purposes as in active duty and not personal use.
