Ruger LCR

A friend bought a LCR 22WMR recently and we have to tap on the ejector rod to get the spent hulls out of the cylinder. Also have to tap new shells down so the cylinder will close. Have tried Remington and CCI ammo, think the cylinder is tight, do you think it will loosen up or do we need to send it back to Ruger? Have about 100 to 150 rounds through it.

I would clean the chambers real good, use a bronze brush and solvent. If that doesn't work, call Ruger.
