I thought our govonor signed a bill allowing single shots to be exempted from the safe handgun crap. Why can I not find any Thompson Contenders. At the LGS I get this yes,no,maybe. Anyone know whats going on.

Yes, single shot pistols are exempt from the "list" as are C&R handguns, single action revolvers, and Olympic-style .22s.
Good luck finding a Thompson Contender though, you will need to find a used one from Gunbroker and get it transferred in through a FFL dealer. I believe they were discontinued in 2000? -
