    Vogel Glock sights...

Anyone familiar with them or know anything about them? Black read and small front fiber optic , seems like they can be pretty good

      Probably made by Dawson.

He explains the reason for the wide notch and fiber set high in the front in this video. Obviously there's pros and cons to a wide notch.

Makes sense. I'm looking for sights at the moment and leaning towards fiber though also considering the tritium Ameriglo Hackathorns.

Why? I have Dawson sights on over 15 handguns and I've never had an issue with their finish. This is while shooting USPSA year round, summer in Sac Valley and sweating to stupidly shooting matches in the rain. Gawd I hate cleaning mud out of the mags.

The width of the front post and the notch depends on your eyesight. I am farsighted and when I was younger I preferred a thin front post with a wide rear notch for USPSA and steel shooting. Nowadays with my prescription progressive lenses I have to use a medium or wide front sight with a narrow rear notch. I'm just glad I can still shoot iron sights with both eyes open.
