Different glocks (gen 3's) have diff triggers?

    Hey guys,

A buddy of mine just got a gen 3 glock 19 and the trigger was different than my gen 3 21. Mine is smooth faced, while his was like angular with ridges.

Mine is way better and more comfortable. Are there different types of triggers on these things and is there a way to choose which one you want?

If I'm not mistaken the large frame glocks have smooth triggers. Don't ask me why. My gen 4 20 has a smooth trigger.
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

the smooth ones are much nicer than the sharp angled ones. I guess he'll have to go for a replacement in time

Yeah certain glocks have serrated triggers. If i remeber correctly its because of importation laws, they call the serrated trigger a "target trigger" and it gives them points so they can import them. Its more difficult to import smaller framed guns. They suck. Glock 17 triggers will work in his 19 and only cost $14

17, 22, 20 and 21 have smooth triggers - I always thought the smaller ones had "target" triggers in order to gain import points? Same with the "adjustable target sights" when they are shipped in and that thumb shelf spot - that old size restriction against non-target imported firearms.

The full sized Glocks have smooth triggers. Most (if not all) compact Glocks have serrated triggers. I swapped out the serrated triggers in my Glock 19 and 30 for the smooth triggers.

Glock part number 357 is a smooth trigger with trigger bar which can replace the serrated G19Gen3 part.
This is a popular part and some suppliers may be out of stock should anyone decide to buy the part for subsequent installation. See:
Explore handgun parts (1,658) at Brownells, including slides, barrels, and triggers to repair, upgrade, or customize your handgun for improved performance.

Ebay can be good for these parts, too.
