    Light option for Glock 19 GEN2 ??

I've had my old man's Gen2 Glock 19 for a couple years now and was looking for light options since this one obviosuly does not have a rail on the frame.

I've seen a couple cheap options that attach to the trigger guard but doesn't seem so secure. Am I stuck with that as my only option?

    Thanks in advance

This. Without a rail, don't even bother. Learn how to hold a light and shoot. Or trade in for a gun with rail, or maybe a laser?

I have several pistols with lights. I also know how to hold a light properly while manipulating a pistol but this was more curiosity than anything.

In a SHTF situation I'd probably grab the G21 with TLR1s anyway.

      Thanks?

I think there are some adapters that allow attachments of a light to the trigger guard or even the magazine. Google fu "glock trigger guard light mount" and some ideas will pop up.

If you are in the Bay Area, I seek to acquire this gun.

I tape the flashlight to my index finger. Just far enough up that I can activate it with my thumb while being able to keep both hands on the gun

I have been told multiple times that Glock will refurb older models. Not sure but might inquire.
