    MantisX

Hi everyone. Someone recently posted a thread about improving handgun shooting and mentioned mantisX. I wasn't familiar with it and so looked it up. It looks interesting. Has anyone used it? Is it helpful? Thanks for any recommendations! Keith

Also it is $150 which is around 500 rounds .45 ACP. So I'm wondering would I be better off trying MantisX or shooting an extra 500 rounds? I think my technique is reasonably good but like all of us I'd like to be better.

Read this cover to cover before think you need to spend money.

Don't fire another shot until you finished reading it.

Wow! Thanks! Seriously I love Calguns! I recognize for me at least trigger pull is from where most inaccuracy comes for me. The dime or penny drill doesn't really work because I know there's no round so I don't flinch. What I did was to purchase snap caps and place them randomly in the magazine. Gradually with practice I learned not to flinch or anticipate. I think my technique is reasonably good but I'd like to be better. I've read what I can and watched videos but at this point I thought I need concentration and practice and possibly private lessons. I'm looking forward to going through the US Army Marksmanship trainer!
        Thanks again!

This is good advise. It is the Indian, not the arrow. Get professional training if you are serious about improving accuracy. I am located in the East Bay and would be happy to help.
