Brand New CZ 75 SP-01 have some question.

Hello guys.
I just picked up brand new SP-01. 50 rds down to the pipe-no issues, very accurate, more then I. Original grips do not fit to my hands badly. I got Hogue Extreem G10, feels much better.
I have notice some play between slide and frame, side to side 0.010" and up and down 0.016". I have no expirience with CZ 75 and it would be interesting to know if this is within specs.I know, in general slide play to frame had no effect on accuracy, barrel lock up and barrel to bushing fit-are key parts of ascuracy, but this asply to 1911 kind of hardware. What about CZ? Do any other owners have similar slide to frame fit?

Not sure, but I notice some of my factory SP-01's have looser slide to frame fit than the Shadow Orange and the Shadow Canada, which are touted to have hand fitted slides at the factory. How it affects accuracy, I would not know as I am nowhere as good as to be able to tell the difference LOL

Side to side on my slide is almost imperceptible, more audible than actual play. Up/down, hardly any.

One of my CZ has a loose slide to frame. I shot it mostly from 10 yards and the 1.5-inch groups are 1 inch to the right of POA. If I slowed down, the group shrunk to 1 inch but it still landed 1 inch to the right of POA. This CZ has an SA straight/flat trigger so I believe most likely it was me not getting used to this type of trigger.

Some CZs come tighter than others. It is luck of the draw. I have a 75 Shadow Custom with a solid slide to frame rattle, it is the loosest fit out of any of my CZ pistols. I have never been able to discern any difference in accuracy or consistency from any of my other CZs.

This question comes up often for good reason. I believe this to be one of those things that when first observed seams like it would make a big difference but once closely examined turns out to have very little effect.

Thanks a lot guys for all responds.
I checked with my friend, he got one about 3 months age and he has even little bit more play.
I got rid of all my plastic guns and switched to steel framed only-SA 9 mm loaded, Dan Wesson PM 7, Sig P238 and now this. Do not regret switch a bit!

My CZ is the only firearm with any audible play between the frame and slide out of all my handguns; My CZ is my most accurate pistol.

The ONLY thing that matters is how well the gun shoots. CZ makes very accurate reliable pistols.

Shouldn't make a difference in accuracy or reliability.

Adds character, just like to tooling marks under the slide.
