I got the fixed sights. Can I contact Springfield for resolution? Any cheap/easy fixes? Beautiful gun shoots amazing but consistently high amongst all shooters. Kinda heartbreaking honestly.

How far was the target?
What distance are the sights set up for?

I think Springfield 1911 with fixed sights are set up for six o'clock hold from the factory. You can send it back and they'll swap rear sights for you.Comment

Look on the brite side, it works! There is about 40 other calguners here that spent double $ what you did and those don't work worth beans. Am I right? Dang sure I'm right.
Any fixed-sight handgun...take what you get. Springfield Armory fixed sight 1911 that works equals good choice.Comment

I had the same issue when I first started shooting my loaded, you just have to adapt to a different sight picture than what you might be used to.Comment
