Success with Shield and Sight Pusher tool

I used the Fisher Solutions Sight Pusher tool to install Trijicon night sights on my M&P Shield. There were no instructions on how to use device for the shield. So through trial and error I got it to work. I am so happy I did not have to spend more money on another tool.

I used a rubber mallet and a nylon punch....worked fine

Obtaining a sight pusher was going to take too long, for me...lol.

That's what I use, but with two thin pieces of high density polyethylene to protect the slide while it's in the vise jaws. If you have to "whack" way too hard to move the sight, that means that the bottom flat of the sight just needs more passes over 320 grit black sand paper.

I have the same sight pushing tool and it does work well. I just never thought of using night sights on my M&P9 Shield. I instead opted for a laser and light TLR-6. You can also get a Dara holster for the combo if you need to carry.
