Watch the YouTube vids and read the internet reviews that are readily available.

The key word seems to always be "fun".

The lows mainly seem to only be the right side safety digs into your trigger finger (for right-handed shooters) and the stock trigger is 9-10 lbs. Both are easily fixed with cheap replacement parts.

They are hard to get and getting harder. I start DROS on my Scorpion carbine tomorrow....got it from Audiophil in Arizona, and I think he sold 20-30 in a month.

If AudioPhil is selling that much Scorpion in a month, it doesn't look like they are hard to get.

I have one. I just submitted my ATF Form 1 to get it SBR'd. I plan to run mine with a suppressor and an Aimpoint.

The front handguard is not the most comfortable with the rails but outside of that I have nothing to complain about. I did buy the selector eliminator to get rid of the selector on the right side of the pistol. Outside of that it is bone stock.

If you decide to go the SBR route, you can get a kit from CZ that will convert it to an SBR and also make it 922r compliant. The kit runs around $200. I have been following the series of reviews on MAC on the CZ Scorpion and may consider adding the carbine handguard and similar sized can as has been shown on MAC.

I would definitely watch the MAC comparison of the Scorpion vs. the MPX if you plan on throwing on a suppressor. There is a big difference in the amount of gas that will get blown back to your face between the two when being shot suppressed. It was what swayed me to choose the Scorpion over the MPX.

I haven't decided if I want a dedicated can for my Scorpion or just use the one I will be putting on my other handguns.

Possibly, then again MPX is also cost wayyyy more. For the price I will stick with Scorpion.

like others have said, the right safety delete is a must, and you have to drill the trigger pack to change the springs for the trigger. HBI has a video on it. There are drill bits being passed around on ar15 & czfirearms.

I was one of the first to get it from Audiophil2.

like others have said it's a "fun" carbine. it's a 9mm. fun plinker, don't need to spend MPX money for a fun gun.

MPX is unnecessarily heavy for a 9mm carbine.

What???? The MPX is pretty, and feels nice in the hands, but honestly I can't think of one thing that is "better" about it..... except for the fact that standard AR triggers fit.

                        MPX:
                        HEAVIER
                        WAY MORE EXPENSIVE
WAY MORE PARTS WHEN DETAIL STRIPPED
                        MAGS ARE AN EXPENSIVE JOKE
                        USES A GAS TUBE/GAS SYSTEM

                        What did I miss?

Its more expensive because its better. Shoot them side by side and you will know why
