Nice visual aid. Now if you think you need glasses to see your sights clearly I suggest you get them. If you have bad eye sight you'll never know how much off you are. I finally gave in and started wearing glasses, now again I see the difference when lining up iron sights.

This is an excellent idea, before you spend any money to fix it. A friend of mine had a *Baby Eagle* he said couldn't hit the side of the berm, I could hit what ever I wanted with it. He sold it and the new owner can hit what ever he wants.

First of all, make sure your sights aren't moving around. If they move around, get them fixed or tightened. If they are secure and absent any other mechanical problem, the rounds should impact in the same spot if you apply the fundamentals consistently. Don't play with the sights until you shoot consistent groups. This may take lots of practice. Once you have tight groups adjust your sights until the groups are where you want them.

Hey, sorry to bump an old thread but my new colt series 70 shoots a bit low. If I aim like this:
its dead on, but if I aim like this: it shoots low. Any opinion on this? I was standing at about ten yards when I was testing this.
