It looks like everything matches the roster listing except the SKU#. But I know standard capacity CZs and low capacity CZs have different SKUs, and both SKUs can be sold in CA as long as no high cap mags are included.

Also, there is nothing on the handgun itself that would indicate it's a different SKU, the rollmark says "CZ 75 Compact" just like the roster listing.

So what's the verdict? Is the different SKU# enough to prohibit this gun from being sold in CA?

This one comes with magazines with more than 10 rds. If they can ship 10 rd mags, your FFL might take it. Not guaranteed

Also I believe the cz75c on the roster doesn't have a rail so I think that fact alone would not qualify it as the same gun.

If you want a Cz compact gun with a rail , look for the P01

afaik the railed compact on the roster is a .40 not 9. I've never seen that one before and it's not on the cz web site. curious to find out more about this.

I get that they're different models, one with a rail and one without.

But the roster doesn't explicitly say anything about rail or no rail, it only gives an SKU#.

CZ did a limited run of about 500 or so that's why it's not listed as an official model. People have been discussing it on the CZ forums. As for being on roster, kind of doubtful a ffl would let you xfer one unless the individual is roster exempt.

Man that steel frame light rail combo is super dangerous. Whereas my alloy frame and light rail are super fluffy safe like.
What would I do without the roster to save me.
