Ruger MkIII Bolt Question

I recently installed a Volquartsen sear and trigger in my MkIII. After reassembly, I noticed that the bolt was noticeably harder to pull back and dropping the bolt requires a harder pull on the bolt-release (I've also done the "slingshot" mod). The gun seems to dry fire normally. This was my first complete disassembly, so am thinking I might have put something together a little off. Anyone recognize this problem?
