SSE for MAC type Pistols?

Been considering a Mac/M11 build lately, and have decided I want to do this one as a pistol.

So, does anyone have any idea how to satisfy the SSE requirements? I've gotten mixed information between whether or not blocking the magwell with a sled, with a modified magazine release, counts (or not) as a single shot requirement. I've also read adding a stiffer recoil spring to make it so the round does not eject without manually working the bolt also helps satisfy the requirement.

Any ideas? My other idea was to just make it so the receiver doesn't have a mag well opening in the receiver until later on if I chose to modify it to semi auto.

Well, SSE ended awhile ago, so I'm not sure how you're going to get around that other than private party transfer.

You also need a 6"+ barrel.

Had one years ago, after I got past the 'coolness' of it and actually shot it some I sold it.
