That meme isn't mocking Californians. It's slamming the rest of the county for not standing with us even though they are in the same sinking boat...

      You can say that again.

        Agreed.

I don't have the body for AIWB, but I find that it is both more comfortable and conceals better at 3:00 or 2:00 than back at 4:00 or even more.

I see Youtube videos of guys claiming that it's hard to conceal at 3:00, and they prefer 4:00 and show a front-on view, but then they turn and the printing is very obvious (until they yank their shirt, every time they move).

3:00 may be hard to conceal if you are a beanpole, but 2:00 offers the same "not on the side" profile benefit as 4:00, with all of the advantages of being in front of you, and with the advantage that the butt isn't sticking out of your back.

BTW: Ordered a JMC IWB-2 last night. That design seems to address the thickness issues I have with Cooks (and the JMC IWB-3).
I like my Tucker Mini IWB, but with the single clip it simply is not stable enough. It's decent for something very small and light like the P380/P238, but the Shield is definitely at the top end of its design.

I've been using a Raw Dog Tactical IWB single clip.
Works excellent for me, the bullet indicator doesn't hit the kydex like others have complained about with other holsters.
When I had a problem with one holster, Raw Dog shipped out replacement parts, with extras, very promptly.

I've been really happy with a Safariland model 27 at 3:00.

              Blackpoint Tactical or JM Custom

This is the Blackpoint Tactical Mini-Wing. It is perfect. Seriously. It's very easy to get on and off, not as easy as a single clip, but I'll be shooting my Shield in several classes, and wanted a holster with enough stability for that.

BTW: I used a borrowed CrossBreed in a 2-day class. If the Blackpoint is an Audi R8, the CrossBreed is a Toyota Tercel. In other words, the BP is way more comfortable, easier to put on and take off, easier to draw from, and seems to add less mass.

I also add my 2-cents. I've been carrying my Shield in a JM Custom Kydez IWB Version One for two years now. Going to pick up the IWB Version Four for my CZ pretty soon.

I have been carrying my Shield and G19 IWB with Raven Phantoms all year. I use Comp-Tec clips though.

You can get them for $70ish on Lanbo's now.

It's hard to tell from the images on the site.
Does the angle of the rear wing push the butt away for an easier draw, or is it tight against your side for better concealment?

That was my one concern before dropping the $75.

It's a perfect mix of both worlds. The holster rides close to the body because of the curve so it doesn't really print, but it rides high above the belt line for a good draw. I carry at 3 o'clock also.

Honestly I wish it rode a bit lower, but I'm a deep concealment kind of guy. I use the very last hole only on my Galco King Tuk. Tricky to get that master grip, but hides like a charm.

I've been carrying a shield in one of these for a while. Still carry my G19 in something more substantial because of the weight of the gun, but since the Shield is so much lighter and I wanted to try out Kydex, I went for this. I really like it. I got the Lighttuck and it's worked out great
