Running a G19 with the agency arms magwell...been meaning to buy some vickers base pads for my magazines.

Anyone here have this setup? How do you like it? Interested to know how much easier it is to grab the magazine from the flared magwell with this setup.

I have one arriving today along with an overwatch precision trigger and S3F fluted barrel.

I'll be doing some dry fire/reloading drills and will let you know.

Yea please do. I'm particularly interested on how they help with a double feed (type 3 malfunciton). I have the S3F barrel and love it

Here is some pics of that combo on my g17. Does help slightly...

Also depends on the g19 mags, might have some issues with the magwell

What has your experience been like ripping that mag out on a type 3 malfunction? Enough real-estate to grab the base with the floorplates on? I imagine that scallop makes for a better grab.

Well, my magwell didn't get shipped with my s3f barrel despite it being in stock.. No idea why but I guess I'll have to wait to provide you with some feedback.

Well got the base plates in surprisingly quickly. Put them on and I have to say theres a significant difference. Definitely enough to grab on to with the mag well installed.

Bumping this thread. My stock mags are not seating properly with AA magwell. Any thoughts or experiences?

10rd mags with vickers pads are the issue. standard capacity mags have no issue. you'll need to sand the vickers pads down a touch so that they can properly seat.

Actually what I noticed is its the type of 10rd mag and not just all 10rd glock mags and vicker baseplates.

I found if you use the vickers baseplates and the 10rd glock mags with the metal tab in the front like the pic below it worked with no issues with the agency magwell and SAI/Suarez magwells.

my oem mags work fine with the AA magwell, I'm using 10/15's in a gen 4.
                      Have a good day!

                          Great looking Agency!

I'm hoping to get my G20 back from Agency Arms soon. Sadly, the magwells are not available for my G20 yet...

This. The mags with the metal, as a rough rule of thumb, will work with magwells better than the non-metal ones. I've tried the AA, the Suarez, and the Zev PRO, and the metal tab mags worked worked. I could never get consistent magazine engagement, so just gave up. The Salient G17 one works great though, haven't tried their G19 one.

The vickers base plates are better without the magwell.
