      So that's why I got my LCP custom so cheap, new model coming out. Looks nice too bad as usual it won't be available in california.

        I just checked and the lcp custom is no longer on the ruger website. Maybe it got discontinued. Glad I got mine.

          I really love my LCP, fits in my pocket and super light and thin.

          The added weight and width of the LCP2 IMHO take away from why people buy the LCP series.

              It's bigger, which detracts from the biggest reason I carry an LCP. If I wanted a bigger and better .380, I'd carry my Glock 43 which solves all the problems of the pocket .380s.

                Interesting they kept the hammer and didn't go striker fired, as they did with the LC9.......maybe the hammer mechanism can be more compact than an equivalent striker mechanism?

                  Yes it is bigger but just by a hair. The biggest gain is the 1 ounce of weight.
