    Glock 19 slide

    Hi all,

I just picked up my first glock 19 and of course I am instantly looking to upgrade it. I want to put a Rmr sight on it and am looking for some advice on where to get my slide cut in the Southern California or Arizona area. If anyone has some tips or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

Are you gonna recoat it after? Want the rear sight in front or behind the rmr?

They are not based in AZ or CA but are the best in terms of quality from reviews on the P&S from endusers that do work with their glocks for a living.

Suarez in Prescott AZ are highly regarded for this work.

Rookie mistake in my opinion. Put 1200 rounds down range with it and then we'll compare notes. My Glock 19 Gen 3 is Glock Perfection indeed.

I had my Glock 19 slide milled for a RMR by Mark of L&M Gunworks. Easy and painless transaction, mailed the slide and had it back a week later perfectly milled and setup with a RMR. Top notch guy to deal with.

Glock itself upgraded to optics support (MOS) for free states. It would just be catching up. Even if OP is a new shooter, starting with optics does not somehow hamper trigger control. It might even help by removing potential excuses of having low-tech sights.

Also worth considering are those rear sight replacement dovetail plates that are compatible with all major optics. Especially if you don't want or care about co-witness. ~$25.

Thank you all for the input. I have put about 1500 rounds through it. When I said just picked it up I meant 2 months ago.

I will look into each of the companies.

                        Thanks.

For a few dollars more than custom work, you can probably get a pre-drilled/cut RMR slide from Lone Wolf.

                          Or not. Nm

Op is this your first pistol? What is the purpose for its use? If SD/HD, you don't want to dump money into a weapon that will be taken if you have to use it. Also by making it more of a killing machine, is not a good idea.
