    Gen4 light and holster combo?

I'm was fortunate enough to have jailed a gen4 yesterday. I'm looking for recommendations on a light and holster combo. Anyone have any positive experiences or good information on a setup. I'm leaning towards the surefire xc1.

Picture because a thread is worthless without pictures.

I have a Surefire XC1 and Raven Phantom holster for my G19. It works well enough but I hope that Safariland makes a light-compatible ALS holster for that combo in the future.

I think he's just joking that a picture, while appreciated, wasn't necessary since everyone knows what a gen4 glock looks like. I, for one, like pretty pictures in threads even if I know what it looks like, it's boring looking at nothing but text all day.

Anyways, check out the Crossbreed Supertuck with a Surefire XC1. CB makes a holster for that weapon/light combo. And it's a great light. Great holster too.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Safariland ALS no doubt. Unless its for CCW then you have to ask yourself...do I really need the light? But for duty/combat type use ALS hands down. Don't even waste your time with the blackhawk holsters.

It's as quick on the draw as a holster with no retention(well unless you're a competition shooter), great immediate retention when you re-holster and extremely durable.

I have an Inforce APL on a Glock 19 and use an OWB Raven Concealment Phantom Light Compatible Holster. I like the setup.

But I did mix and match the retention loops. I have one Pancake Wing and one Standard Loop to snug it up the way I like it.

Until you acquire at least a dozen holsters for the same style pistol, you can never be sure.

I've got an XC1 and several X300's. The XC1 is a great light if minimal added size is your goal, but for functionality the X300 with a DG switch can't be beat. If I knew I was going to be in a self-defense situtation that would be what I would bring.

For IWB I just got a Blackpoint holster and it is the best IWB holster I've used yet. I've got several OWB Raven holsters and they are nice, but give Blackpoint a look as well: http://www.blackpointtactical.com/shop/mwlm/
