    BugBite Mid-calf holster

I saw the add in American Rifleman magazine. It looks great and the price isn't bad so I ordered one. https://www.bugbiteholsters.com/prod...d-calf-holster

It arrived yesterday, I put it on and put my Ruger LC-9 in it. It's comfortable, holds the gun pretty securely, there is a pocket for a spare mag and the gun doesn't move when walking, though I don't think I'd go jogging with it.
The problem is, it doesn't work with my Levi's jeans, REI hiking pants or dress slacks. The pants barely fit over the rig with the gun in place. My REI hiking pants almost work, though I can see the panic of trying to get to my gun in a hurry and wrestling with trying to get the pants leg over the gun, not to mention the obvious bulge.
If you are stuck in the 70's and still wear bell bottom pants then this is the holster for you! I'll be sending this one back.

Yes, I have never seen the usefulness of a calf holster unless you are carrying a backup to your primary CCW (something I have never done).

I pocket carry my BUG to my primary CCW. Ankle/calf holster is too unaccessible. IMHO the only time an ankle/calf carry was beneficial was deep cover and even then it was not practical. IWBA is preferred.

I suppose it might work for a lady in a full length dress...

Or maybe you could wear velcro rip off stripper pants.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Ha! That would make for an interesting post incident interview!
