    Gen4 G21 10mm Conversion. What spring?

    Anyone done this?
I just picked up a Storm Lake G21 45/10mm barrel. Which recoil spring?
Probably NOT going to shoot full power 10mm+ rounds like BB or Underwood.
I reload, so probably loading somewhere around the 1200/600 range with 180's.
Done lots of snooping on other sites, and 22lb seems popular for full power.
Was thinking going from the 17lb to a 20?
    Any thoughts?
This will be my walking in the woods carry.
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

I use a 22lb ISMI flat wire spring on a stainless removable captured GR on both my G20SF and G21SF when running hot 10 and 45 Super. It keeps the slide off the frame and will still cycle my lightest 40 and 45 Auto loads.

    I got mine at Glockmeister.
When asked what qualities he most valued in his generals, Napoleon said, "give me lucky ones."

I use a 20, and shoot pretty stout loads.

I agree with them, even though it's not what I have set up. I've been wanting to change...now I have direction

21 seems to be perfect . I can run powder puff 40 cal rounds to everything Underwood has to offer .
With either A Lonewolf longslide and barrel or factory.
