That guy needs to head down to Walmart, aisle 14, left hand side, and buy a freakin' clue.

Looking at the 1911 followed by the Nambu, you don't need a history book to figure out who won WWII.

This is an informative web site for Nambu pistols http://members.shaw.ca/tju/jhg.htm

This seller on Gunbroker.com has magazines http://www.gunbroker.com/All/BI.aspx...Sellers=107574 There are also some for sale on Ebay.

              Ammo here http://www.buffaloarms.com/8MM_Nambu...spx?TERM=nambu

              I handload my own ammo.

The firing pins are fragile. The pistols were issued with a spare firing pin and there is a loop to hold the spare in the holster. The spare firing pin might still be in the holster.

If you ever intend to shoot it I recommend you get a reproduction firing pin and save the original. This gentleman provides reproduction parts including new firing pins and a new safety lever http://members.shaw.ca/tju/donspartslist.htm I had him make new firing pins for all of my Nambu Type 14's.

              Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Working with mine, I couldn't help but think:

"Yeah, yeah, isolated, feudal, blah, blah, but they must've at least seen a Browning design by the time this came out, right?"

Seriously, a local copy of a .380 ACP 1908 would've been a vastly superior weapon.

I wonder if he actually sells any of those, seems like they've been listed forever. I couldn't get a nibble on my early nickeled mag for $75, shipped, although that was in the Calguns marketplace, a.k.a. "Craigslist for Guns".
