If it was working OK before you took it apart the problem is likely the sear spring not correctly installed. Did you remove the mainspring housing?"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." B.Franklin,1759Comment

Check your sear spring.Comment

If you are able to follow the video then you're almost there.
Check the disconnector for damage. If no damage clean the disconnector and the hole it goes in. Use wd40, qtip and compressed air to get all that gunk out. Check all the parts for chip or breakage. Check proper length of disconnector and leaf spring function(s).The wise man said just find your place

The problem you're experiencing could be just dirt or small foreign object in the ignition parts area. The 2011 doesn't have much parts. Where are you located at so someone can advise you of a local reliable and competent smith. There are some calgunners here that are very experienced with 1911/2011 that may help. The wise man said just find your place

If your still in Rowland Heights, JV Dynamics is in Corona and 1911 Speedshop in Riverside. Both can tell you what's the problem and can also provide you service for a nice match trigger. The wise man said just find your place
