    I own/carry/have carried everything from a G21 to a G42...

    I have more expensive pistols of other varieties (carried a 1911 for many years), but for carry, it's gonna be a Glock...

    Either you get Glocks or you don't.

    Cue the Glock haters...

        Nice, do yourself a favor and ditch the Hogue gripall and get yourself some rubberized Talon grip tape. I was a big user of the Hogue gripall. Self and gave the talons a try and removed all the Hogue sand equipped all my glock with the Talon's

          I may try the talons. I have some on a little .22 and they feel good. Do they still hold when wet/sweaty/hot? I have had issues with hot days or a lot of shooting and adhesive type grips.

          Frozen guy can attest to the ammo usage that goes through my hands and downrange... ha!

            I have not had any issues with them on my CCW gun and it gets very sweaty at times especially when we have hots days like we have the last couple days.

            I think the key is to make sure you get the grip area very clean prior to applying them, and then what I do to really get them on good is turn the stove top fire on and get them warmed up with fire heat and really grip the gun firm to get them to adhere very good.

              OP I have been down the Glock road, everything from sub compact to full size. Thye are cheap enough to buy what you think you might want. I have only two now a Gen 2 and Gen 3 19. All you need is new sights, magazines and ammo. Good luck on finding the one you want.

                I have three...20SF/19/42.

                I love the factory sights as they are friendly to old worn out eyes.

                          I've been bitten by the Glock bug too.

                          I've only been to a range a total of five times in my life and only three with my own Glock 17 and they already told me I can't call myself a "novice shooter" anymore. Last night, I somehow managed 20 rounds in this group at 7 yards and this group at 10 yards. This was after last weekend's thorough cleaning and trigger bar polish. I think I'll just chalk it up to a "lucky day" for now.

                          Calguns forum advice + reliable weapon + practice = safety from zombie apocalypse. My second will likely be a Springfield EMP (if I like it after I rent it) but this Glock will always be my first and always be my default "SHTF" defense.

                              I have a 17, 19, and 34. I also have an extra slide/barrel unit for 17. I use that extra unit on 34. It shoots really good.

                                [QUOTE=Calico1404;18844195]Purely a financial problem....
                                I am still learning to love the 19 but the 17 and 34 take the cake for just pure work horses.
