I'm not a Glock fan. I'm a old fart who loves his vintage guns. However, on a bet from my son's, to build a Glock that is accurate, and looks decent.
I started with the Glock 35, 40 caliber tactical type handgun. Groups with the factory barrel were, well, unacceptable. First I bought a Lone Wolf barrel. Group size got better. Then I bought a Wilson. Groups got even better. But the next barrel, a KKM was the best. Groups at 25 yards hover around an inch. Of course, I spent a lot of time working up a good accurate load.
Next was sights. I bought the KenSight adjustable sights. For me, they give me the partridge type sight that I like for shooting bullseyes.
Next was the trigger. I tried the ZEV and others but was not impressed. I ended up with a Apex trigger. It's not the weight I would like, but it is the best I tried.
I messed around with some other small stuff, springs, extractors, firing pins, etc. Got it where I wanted.
Finally, I had it cerakoted. Overall, I have around $1500 into it. Now, it is something I can shoot the small groups I aim for to achieve.
If I do another, I see that they have aluminum frames and fancy slides, etc. Maybe I will incorporate some of those just for fun.

, and since you're going for Apex trigger you should polish the bar/contact points if it isn't already (I don't recall it being)
