The 2-tone fell off the roster this year. The only way to get one now is be a police officer or find one in the Calguns handguns marketplace for sale by a private party who is a CA resident. They do show up from time to time.

And even when it was on the roster, it was barely in production (specifically the 2 tone one)

As Skyhawk stated, you are pretty much limited to a private party transfer.

They are not on the roaster. I have one in a .40, the long trigger pull is very annoying.

It is one of the smoothest double action pulls you will find on a semi-auto, but as you mentioned it is a long double action pull. I think it is one of the weird niche guns, mainly for double action revolver guys switching over to a semiauto.

I use it mainly to work on my trigger pull. If I can keep a clean smooth, non-jerky pull on the 250, then I can I keep my trigger squeeze clean on my other firearms. Great practice gun, but I'm not sure if I trust myself to use it as a home defense gun.

Agreed it's very smooth, but took a few magazines to get used to the long pull and be on target.

This is true, they were hard to find because they were discontinued by Sig some time ago, but Osage seemed to still have them as late as last fall. I know some Calgunners were still importing them last year since they were still on the roster.

Try the SP2022 - I think you will like it a lot and maybe better than the P250. In either .40SW or 9mm, it is a great Sig handgun and half the price of other Sigs. It is classic Sig SA/DA with decocker. And it is on the roster!

I have seen them as low as $359 and more regularly at $399. LGS near me sells them frequently for $399. I got one in .40SW used for $250 and I can say personally after having shot it, that it is an awesome handgun value at $400. I might even pop for a new one in 9mm if I can score it for $399 and the non-LCI version.
