    Calling on all cz experts

There are 2 types of CZ75bs out there. One has a thinner trigger with a smaller radius/tighter curve. This one also has a lighter looking hammer. The second version has a fatter slightly less curved trigger with a fatter hammer. Why the difference? (Are they produced in different factories, etc...)

Also, is the trigger spring breaking a normal thing? Mine just snapped and it has less than 2k rounds through it. It left the trigger dead and the gun completely useless. Makes me not trust this gun

    I wouldn't don't trust it either.
I'd say get a replacement spring for the broken one. It's been known to happen.
Not sure the differences within the cz's.
Maybe one is the omega trigger system?

Any pics? 75b single action only (SAO) has a flatter trigger.

I have well over 2k rounds on 3 out of 4 of my CZs and have never had a issue springs breaking

Does one of the CZ's have a spurred hammer, and the other a circular hammer? If so that is a Pre B, and a 75b.

As for the spring I believe this is somewhat common. They should send you a new one if you contact them, I have read in other forums anyway.

One is probably a stock recurve trigger with a tight radius. The thicker one could be the first version of the 85c trigger if it has an overtravel set screw. If it doesn't have the screw it maybe the same as stock 97B trigger. CGW has some new trs system but seems still in development which is designed to solve that problem.

Thanks everyone. Killnjoke's post explained exactly what I was asking. And as for the trigger spring I guess I'm just unlucky. I'll see if they can send me a free replacement

I wouldn't bother getting a stock one from CZ USA. Call up Cajun Gun Works and talk to Dave and he can set you up with some upgraded parts that are much more durable and reliable not to mention, much better too.

Really dislike CZ's trigger shape on the 75b and SP-01. One of the most uncomfortable triggers there is, just a bad design. But the P-09 & 7 have a really nice comfortable shape to them, go figure.

Pictures would help, i am not sure what you are talking about. It may have been a non factory trigger that was added to the pistol.

As far as the TRS breaking i have seen it pop up from time to time. If you get a replacement i would suggest the CGW TRS. It is a little lighter but i have not heard of any of those breaking at low round counts.

Do you do allot of dry fire by chance? Dry firing goes towards the round count for the TRS.
