    Question about Glock sights

So, I just picked up a nice condition Gen 1 Glock 17. Black internals, 2 pins, serial #Ax-xxx. I have seen many variants of Glock sights though I've never seen these. Rear sight is adjustable and large and didn't look like the Gen 1 adjustable I've seen hanging off the back of the slide, in fact the sight picture is totally different from a Glock. Given that everything has remained stock on this pistol, I'm uncertain if these sights are from the factory or the previous owner put them on. Anyone seen these sights before?

    Those aren't the factory sights.

I didn't think so. They're fairly large and unattractive, I think I'm gonna change them.

Don't look anything like the ones on my Gen 2. I've got three dots to line up.

No worries, had you bought it with the stock Glock sights you would have wanted to do the same.

Those sights look like they're from Millet. Not from the factory. Popular back in the day but kinda too high profile for my taste and the rear outline too distracting. If the rear is the adjustable, they used a fine bladed phillips type of bit. Run it to see if you like them. Luckily, Glock sights are easy to change out.

                Yes, look like Millet aftermarket.

Those sights don't look that bad. looks like the previous owner wanted a target gun. If the front sight is still staked or no mods to the hole then you can easily switch back to factory type sights.
