Problem with RIA 1911 and new sights. Help!

Ok so I finally got to get up off my butt and get some range time yesterday after work. So after plinking around with my 22 I load up the RIA and toss the target against the backstop. The guy at the local range said it's 20 or 21 yards out, he can't remember. Anyways here's the issues I experienced with the new sights:

Everytime I pointed the gun at the orange center thingy and pulled the trigger it made a hole right where I was pointing it. I say to myself, this is a cheap POS gun. There is nowai it can do that. So I loaded another magazine where I noticed another problem it had. It kept making a loud noise everytime I pulled the trigger back. I mean it was annoying kinda. Should I have a smith look at it to see why all the holes on the target are so close to each other? Maybe he can make it quieter somehow, I dunno.

Appreciate any insight or advice. Kthx.

LOL, very funny. I was like "where is he going with this?" but after the first sentence, I got it.

Very cool gun, cool grips, and good shooting

Well without going into a lot of detail and gun talk, I think the best thing you could do is sell the pistol to me as it without question is defective and that loud noise will cause you hearing loss......

You have serious problem with that pistol especially at 21 yard,
but moreover, biggest problem is your hand, it is too steady .....

Can I just throw a handgun in the trash?

Maybe I'll just go into my local LASD station to surrender it. Can I just go in and wave the gun over my head yelling "I WANNA GIVE THIS BACK IT SUCKS!!!" or should I call ahead mebbe? Hrm. I think I'll call em first.

It's actually a GI model with wilson combat ignition parts, trigger, and drop in tail. Duracoated it in my garage.

The tac model didn't exist yet when I bought mine ages ago. Wish it did, would've saved me some bucks.

No, no, no! You need to point the thing at them and yell, "I've got something for you mother ****ers right here!". You'll immediately get their full attention...

At the end of the day, when all is said and done, it's still a RIA (j/k)

I kinda appreciate what you are going through, I see it even has those old fashion rear sights that you can conveniently rack the slide one handed. Jeez, being a single action and all, what are all those guys with their 1911s with their useless ramped sights are going to do now?
                              The good kind of trouble......Enjoy!!!
