    Kriss vector pistol question?

From what I understand, Kriss Vector pistols are banned.

Can one still be Intrafamilia transferred?

If so, is the Kriss subject to the AW registration as a pistol?

Because of CA unsafe handgun laws, since it is not listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, it can only be transferred by a CA FFL dealer using an exemption (LEO sale, PPT, out-of-state intra-familial gift).

Because of CA assault weapons laws, in order to be CA legal, it must operate using a fixed 10 round magazine.
^Until 12-31-16, a "bullet button" style maglock + 10 round magazine can be used to satisfy this requirement.
^Starting 01-01-2017, a 10 round magazine must be installed in such a manner that it can not be removed without disassembling the firearm's action.

It needs to be made CA legal prior to importation into CA.
