    Cz tactical sport shoot high?

took my new cz tactical sport out today where it shot about 4-5 inches high from 16 yards. I am used to glock so i may just need to get used to the new gun, but it seems really odd to me

Set it on a rest and try and see if it's the gun or if it's the shooter. If you look at the CZ test target, it should show you if it is shooting a little high or not. Please keep us posted.

How are you lining up the sights?

        Image 2 gogo.

Litespeed do you mean a rest that is specific for the purpose or can a table work?

From 15-16 yard, ammo can influence accuracy. What ammo did you use?

Just a sand bag rest or something that can steady the gun so you can see if the groups are consistent. I have noticed that most CZ's will shoot similarly to their test targets so please check that and let us know how it looks.

Tbc I was using factory 180gr federal American Eagle ball.

Lites peed the test from the cz factory was at 25 meters. On average the point of impacts were at the 1 o clock position, 2.5 inches above the intended target. There was one outlier that shot at the 12 o clock position at 3 inches above the target.

I've always used sight picture #3 covering the poa.

I think #3 would have put me a few inches higher off target since I was already shooting high

I'm hoping adustable rear sights can help me with the problem. Just not looking forward to the installation process

CZ 75 BD and SP-01, I also use #3 and POA always matches with POI

I use sight picture #2 on all my fixed sight CZ's.

If I got adjustable sights, I should be able to zero at 20-25 yards?

The factory rear sights on the Tac Sport is extremely difficult to remove without marking the slide. At least that's what I heard. I always use sight image #2.

What if i filed it down some to zero at 17 yards?
