        There's mammoth ivory grips on the wilson website the last time I checked. I think they went for $400. I personally prefer smooth, dark brown wood with darker grain for all of my 1911s. I think these types of grips really go well with black pistols. I sweat like a pig and with checkering front and back I don't have any control issues. Smooth grips are also more comfortable to carry.
