Trying to choose which one of my CZ's to mill for a Deltapoint pro. 97BD, P-01, P07,P09, or an Accushadow. Or is a Springer precision mount the better choice?

Milling a CZ for a Deltapoint pro

Springer Precision mount can be reversed. Milling is permanent and probably costs quite a bit more. Not sure if having the red dot sit lower adds any advantages or not. I would definitely not mill your Accu-Shadow nor your blued 97BD. Maybe consider doing it on your P09. -
I agree. It will be either the p07 or p09.Springer Precision mount can be reversed. Milling is permanent and probably costs quite a bit more. I think some companies address that by using mounting plates, so the mounting plate to slide holes remain the same while the mounting plate to red dot holes can vary. The downside is that the red dot won't sit as low.Comment

Here's the pic of a Springer Precision mounting plate with Burris FastFire 3.
You want the red dot on a full size frame. I say P09.

I went with a EGW LPA mount for my Leupold Deltapoint because it is removable and no permanent modification to the original slide. You just have to make sure you get the right mount for the dovetail of the pistol you choose to have this on. The only benefit to having the slide milled is to have a low mount for BUIS, but I have not seen this done on a CZ. Although Leupold makes an add on rear iron sight for the Deltapoint Pro. You just have to get the correct height front sight.Comment

I vote 09. I would like to flush mount a Trijicon on mine but i cannot say that it is likely that i will fork over the money for it.
I do not have any personal exsperince with the FF3 but Jo L over on the Original CZ forums uses one for his bullseye shooting. He has allot of videos up with coverage of the red dot in use. May be worth a look. I believe he uses the same optic on his Kadet and 97 BE as well.
