Milling a CZ for a Deltapoint pro

Trying to choose which one of my CZ's to mill for a Deltapoint pro. 97BD, P-01, P07,P09, or an Accushadow. Or is a Springer precision mount the better choice?

Springer Precision mount can be reversed. Milling is permanent and probably costs quite a bit more. Not sure if having the red dot sit lower adds any advantages or not. I would definitely not mill your Accu-Shadow nor your blued 97BD. Maybe consider doing it on your P09.

At least try it out with the mount. Finding a new slide could be problematic. As in what if the DeltaPoint takes a dump several years down the road and the new model's base won't work with your cuts

I agree. It will be either the p07 or p09.

I think some companies address that by using mounting plates, so the mounting plate to slide holes remain the same while the mounting plate to red dot holes can vary. The downside is that the red dot won't sit as low.

Ok, so for the final decision, Springer precision mount and a Deltapoint pro on the p07 or p09?

Here's the pic of a Springer Precision mounting plate with Burris FastFire 3.

You want the red dot on a full size frame. I say P09.

I vote the P09 because I want to do the same.

I went with a EGW LPA mount for my Leupold Deltapoint because it is removable and no permanent modification to the original slide. You just have to make sure you get the right mount for the dovetail of the pistol you choose to have this on. The only benefit to having the slide milled is to have a low mount for BUIS, but I have not seen this done on a CZ. Although Leupold makes an add on rear iron sight for the Deltapoint Pro. You just have to get the correct height front sight.

I thought I saw a P-07, or 09 slide on Cz customs site that was pre milled. Might be an option for you

I believe it's a gen 1 slide. I have a gen 2. Plus they are never in stock

How do you guys like the Fast Fire 3? I've heard great things about them. I guess I could get two for the price of one deltapoint pro or Trijicon rmr

I vote 09. I would like to flush mount a Trijicon on mine but i cannot say that it is likely that i will fork over the money for it.

I do not have any personal exsperince with the FF3 but Jo L over on the Original CZ forums uses one for his bullseye shooting. He has allot of videos up with coverage of the red dot in use. May be worth a look. I believe he uses the same optic on his Kadet and 97 BE as well.
