    CZ P-01

Question, I know that the CZ 75 P-01 01199 is on roster and is available to purchase in California. But is it ok to purchase the CZ 75 P-01 91199/ since it's the same gun but just comes with high caps. Of course I would buy different magazines but is that still legit to buy in California?

Some ffls will take out the mags and then it's technically the 01199. So basically in my experience it depends on your ffl.

Agreed, when I bought my SP-01, it was with the standard capacity mags...the shipper just removed the mags and made my purchase that more expensive, but I had my CZ. Some FFLs are okay with doing that, some aren't as osis said.

In the true letter of the law, that SKU is not on the California roster

You can have them send it to an FFL that can block the standard cap mags to 10rds. Riflegear, Baboosh, Audiophil, and a few others can do that. This way you don't lose the mags and have to purchase manufactured 10rd mags.

Virgil will still beat you, and I got a free cup cake at uspsa today since he turned 80!
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

This is the only right answer.

I recall reading not too long ago that the DOJ has added actual SKU #so to the DROS software. If this is not true, byoure good to go, just get the mags blocked prior to taking possession.
