Glock rear sight

I have a set of meprolight tru-dots on my glock 19 but would like a plain black rear sight. I'm not familiar with the different heights I keep seeing when looking for different sights and can't find a solid answer on what height the meprolight glock sights are so I can get the proper plain plain black rear to install.

Any recommendations?

You should measure the sight you have. Glock sights come in 4 heights. The factory sights have dashes on the side to let you know where the poa and poi will be. Not sure if aftermarket sights have the dashes...

Basically a single long dash is what I found to be the sight that places the point of impact at the same level as the point of aim at 7-10 yards for me. The short dashes represent where the point of impact will be in relation to point of aim (the long dash)

Obviously that also depends on the height of your front sight...

Buy a matched set of sights, replace both then no issues if you order the wrong rear sight.

Doing an internet search, I found this link:

which indicates the Glock Meprolight sight might be .172" (compared to .165" for a stock Glock sight).
