    CCW Liability Class

I just completed my biannual ccw liability class for renewal of my ccw.The instructors said it's ok to practise with reloads but one should only have factory ammo in their carry weapons.I've been taking these classes for over 35 years and heard this repeated time and again it's for your own CYA in case you have to defend yourself & fire your weapon at a perp and you will make a court appearance!I located an interesting site with excellent information regarding self defense ammo : http://www.scribd.com/doc/4089866/AM...EFENSE-FIREARM written by the gurus of self defense. Enjoy!

The author mentions a "$1200 customized 1911"!! Geeze, when was it written, 1956?
Things usually turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out.

Always nice to use factory stuffs. I never use reloads on my guns unless it is a competition pistol/ rifle.

If I wrote a gun article today quoting prices they would be obsolete inside of a couple of weeks.I had a Colt 1991A1 modified for $125 in the 1990's so I could hit the target I aimed at.
